I'm painting all the images of the letter "M" from the 1967 edition of the Encyclopedia Britannica. I haven't counted them, but there's over a hundred. The first painting is 10 feet long and includes the Macedonian Empire and machine guns. And I was just working on one that's 18 inches by 18 inches, with (the word) Madeira. I paint really fast, but I generally work in series. So, the "M" series will take years to do.

I'm also doing a series of 28 small, identical, two-sided paintings with my dog, Mona, on one side, surrounded by an Islamic art design. On the other side is a reproduction of a reading flashcard from when I was a kid. I'll send 18 of them to people I seek approval from, including Robert Rauschenberg, Mark Wahlberg, PJ Harvey and Amanda Farber, Manny Farber's daughter.
